BA Geography Requirements
A. There are two
concentrations for the BA degree: Urban-Economic and
Physical-Environmental. In both cases, majors must complete
54 hours of geography courses. All majors must complete the required
distribution requirements (1-5) as noted below. Majors must take
both the 15 hour introductory physical sequence, and the 15 hour introductory
human/regional geography sequence. Either physical geography, or
the human/regional geography sequences, may be counted toward A&S requirements.
Geography majors should take Math Statistics 147-149 to fulfill the A&S
Mathematics requirements (9 hrs.).
All courses are three hours unless otherwise indicated (4
hours; 2 hours). Courses with
