This is the home page for the Circumarctic Active Layer
Monitoring (CALM) program. Below is a Table of Contents with links to various pages. These
pages have been kept as simple as possible to avoid lengthy downloading times. CALM Program Description

Map of Sites in CALM Program
Site Data is available for examination and downloading. This includes site
description forms, active layer thaw depth, and temperature measurements since 1991.
- Table of annual thaw depth for all sites;
includes location, type of measurements, investigator, and average annual thaw. This table
will link you to the site data sets. When you select the site of interest, you will
be sent to the subdirectory containing all data files for that site. In each subdirectory
is a file called ???files.txt, where ??? is the site number. This file contains a
listing and description of all files in that subdirectory.
- Table of inactive sites.
- (New) CALM
annual summary statistics for all sites including mean, standard deviation,
minimum and maximum thaw depth for all sites, arranged by grids,
transects, frost tubes, and temperature profiles (in Excel 95 format).
- Word 95 document containing a list and description of all
files for all CALM sites.
- Site MetaData text file containing description of all sites.
