ATTENDANCE:

Attendance will not be taken.  Students are responsible for all material presented in lecture, including additional and current information.  Students are responsible for accessing all relevant material and assignments which are posted on the course web page.

EXAMS:

Three exams will be given, each worth 30% . The exams are not comprehensive.  All students must take the final exam. NO MAKEUP exams will be given.

Computer Skills It is expected that all students will be proficient in the following skills: be able to access the Internet and World Wide Web, be able to use e-mail, be able to use a word processor.

Introduction to the geography of economic, political, cultural, and physical processes that have shaped Europe. Landscape, urban and population changes, and roots of contemporary European issues are emphasized.
